Post Workshop Training

There will be two 1/2 day workshops offered on Thursday, May 14th, from 9:00AM until 12:00PM

1.) GISP Training Session

The workshop is intended for those looking to get their GIS Professional certification from GISCI. All are encouraged to join, whether you are a seasoned professional ready to submit your application or a newly minted GIS graduate. This is a working session meant to get you started on your application, so BRING YOUR LAPTOP! You are encouraged to create an account on the GISCI website ( before the workshop, but this will be covered in the class. If you already have a GISCI account, there is a chance that your password has changed (due to database migration). Please test your account login and if you need your password reset contact Bill Hodge ( BRING YOUR APPLICATION MATERIALS! This should include transcripts, evidence of workshop/conference attendance, letters confirming employment, etc. Buck DeFee (Ph.D, GISP) will be the trainer.
