  • National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI)
    The NSDI represents the technologies, policies, and people necessary to promote sharing of geospatial data.

  • NOAA Coastal Services Center
    Creators of the ArcView Metadata Collection Tool.

  • Wisconsin Land Information Clearinghouse
    The Wisconsin Land Information Clearinghouse  is a gateway to geospatial data and metadata for Wisconsin.   A valuable site for metadata beginners!

    LA Office of E-Services develops and organizes the policies that will shape the development in information systems utilized in Louisiana government.

  • Louisiana Geographic Information Systems Council
    The LGISC serves to facilitate the policy and planning of GIS in Louisiana.  The council is a contributing sponsor of this WorkBook.
